Not sure how reliable the source is but Hollywood.com has stated that Garrett will be starring as Dean in On The Road, a book adaption written by Jack Kerouac.

In the early 1950s, an aspiring writer heads out west and meets up with some friends, old and new. Together they experience the road.

How awesome that Garrett is attached to another movie??! Woohoo!

ProScout discovery Garrett Hedlund moved to Arizona as a teen, where ProScout delivered his first management company (Simmons & Scott, LA). His breakout role was playing alongside Brad Pitt in the blockbuster "Troy". Film #2: co-starred in "Friday Night Lights" (film version) with Billy Bob Thornton. Film #3: "Four Brothers" with Mark Wahlberg. Film #4: played Murtaugh in dragon flick "Eragon". Film #5: co-starred with Lindsay Lohan in "Georgia Rule". Film #6: Opposite Kevin Bacon in "Death Sentence". Garrett is repped by Endeavor.

Why the heavy watermark?

I am so sick of fake GH profiles, people out there pretending to be him, misleading his fans, telling them god knows what.. these people cannot be stopped and as much as i love to show this picture, it had to be done this way. i just want to let you all know that, the "official" profiles in myspace, especially Friendster is fake! so if you are friends with the faker, don't believe anything it says!

But why do (profile) have pictures you don't in the gallery?

Some personal pictures were taken off as requested, owners of the photos didn't want them up. (Believe me, i have copies ;))

Actor turns down Bruckheimer blockbuster

HOLLYWOOD- Big budget blockbuster "Prince Of Persia", the Mike Newell helmed film produced by Jerry Bruckheimer and Disney, has been turned down by its first choice for the lead role of "Dastan". The much talked about video game based pic skedded to lens this Summer in Morocco and slated as an '09 tentpole for Disney has been searching through every A list actor in town, finding Max Michael Minghella as the front runner.

The Armenian born, UK raised actor was not available for comment, and industry insiders are abuzz with why any thesp would turn down such a star making role.

American actor Garrett Hedlund, famous for roles in "Troy", "Friday Night Lights", "Four Brothers", and a recent ad campaign for Swedish underwear brand "MMansperson Åska" (Male Thunder), is said to be the next choice to play the Prince.
